Do you know how a stainless steel sheet with mirror water ripple effect is produced ?

Today, the editor will take you into the Grand Metal factory workshop to see the whole production process of the mirror water corrugated stainless steel sheet. The production process of this process mainly includes the following 7 steps:

1.Material preparation:

Select the applicable stainless steel plate as the raw material. Commonly used stainless steel raw materials include 201, 304 and 316, etc., and the surface finish of the material can be 2B or BA.

2.Surface treatment:

First, use stainless steel grinding process to grind and polish the surface of 2B or BA stainless steel plate to ensure that the surface finish of stainless steel sheet can reach mirror 8K (for the introduction of stainless steel sheet grinding process, please refer to: 8K Mirror stainless steel sheet processing process).

3.Water ripple pattern design:

Design and draw the ripple pattern according to the desired water ripple effect. Computer-aided design software (CAD) can be used to create precise patterns.

4.Water ripple processing:

Send the ground mirror stainless steel sheet into a special corrugation processing machine. These machines are usually roller presses or hydraulic presses with corrugated rolls or dies. The stainless steel plate is rolled or hydraulically processed to form the desired water ripple effect.

5.Surface polishing:

After the water ripple processing is completed, the surface of the stainless steel sheet is further polished and ground. Use finer and finer abrasives and polishing media until the desired mirror finish is achieved. This can be done by methods such as mechanical polishing, chemical polishing or electrolytic polishing.

8.Cleaning and Inspection:

The mirror-finish corrugated stainless steel sheets are cleaned to remove any dirt and residue. A quality check is then performed to ensure that the surface is clean, free of blemishes and has a consistent moiré effect.

7.Packaging and shipment:

The final mirror-finish corrugated stainless steel plate is packaged, marked and recorded as required. Then ship to the destination.
