Satin finish stainless steel is a type of finished stainless steel which was smooth, matte finish with a soft sheen. Less defined grain lines, giving a uniform, clean look.

Texture: 

Unidirectional texture, low gloss reflectivity, horizontal and vertical lines on the surface.

Brushed Finish Stainless Steel 

Brushed finish stainless steel is achieved by brushing the steel surface with fine abrasives, resulting in a pattern of tiny, parallel lines.

Texture: 

Fine, linear texture with a bit more shine than Scotch Brite but still a matte look.
